The Philadelphia LGBTQ Bar Association has partnered with Philadelphia FIGHT for an advocacy-focused CLE focused on HIV and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) discrimination titled, Educating Advocates: Strengthening Your Advocacy Toolkit to Combat HIV and MAT Discrimination scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm. Philadelphia LGBTQ Bar Association Board Member, Jacqueline Romero will present on the Department of Justice’s authority under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Housing Act to combat discrimination, and will aim to educate local stakeholders on how to use anti-discrimination laws to protect affected communities.
